7/8/19
We woke up around 6:30 again and I got up and made a fire
for everybody to keep warm in the morning. Then the cooking group made
chocolate chip pancakes and hot water for hot coco. After breakfast we cleaned
everything up washed dishes and put everything away. Then we went to potato
hill to hike and pick flowers to press them. It took a while to walk up the
hill but not too long because I had the fast group. On the way up we say a big
footprint bigger then my whole hand. When we made it to the top we were going
to take pictures of mount Adams but it was to foggy to see the top of the
mountain we just seen the bottom of the mountain. After we looked at the view
we went down the dirt trail and ran down and got dirty a lot. Once we made it
to the bottom we loaded up and me my mom and a few other students went to
mosquito lake to fish they have a public boat that you can use and I almost
fell of like 100 times. After we tried to fish the boat didn’t have any paddles
so we used a stick and moved along then I was pushing us with the stick to the
shore and jumped off to the land and the boat drifted away and I had to take
off my socks and shirt to get the other students in the boat and we were really
dirty so it was good anyway because we cleaned off. After that entire struggle
we decided to jump off the boat to have a little fun before we left. When we
got back to the camp sight I changed my clothes and I made another fire to keep
warm and we were going to blog and press flowers at our campsite but it started
to rain so we went to camp chaparral to do our flower pressing and blog.
